I really enjoy this band, but I could listen to the album on LP as easily as I could watch them stand rooted to the spot live and make the songs indistinguishable from the studio recordings.

I saw all of P2 live and then the next time they came around with Deafheaven. Their stage presence has gotten a lot better save for maybe dusty and paul, but fuck, that shit theyre playing who can really say anything. The songs definitely sound similar to the studio cuts, but isnt that how it's supposed to be? Obviously they're a bit more raw and slightly sloppy, but the fun for me was moshing and watching them play this insanity in between.

Have you seen a crowd react to songs from Colors in 2014? It's anything but boring.
