Zyon's heartbeat as a fetus had introduced us to Chaos A.D. and now he is drumming for his old man.

This is sweet.

It's a horrid album cover. As for the tunes, generic soulfly.

Yeah, I mean alright it's not their best work but it sounds like they're having fun recording this album and giving Zyon a chance to explore his capabilities a little bit. It's an enjoyable enough listen and FUCKING GROOVES

I like the production in this album, the bass drums sound really punchy and the snare powerful like in the good ol sepultura albums.

For me one of the albums of the year. Grooves all over the place, yes, but I think cavalera did a good thing in recruiting his son for drums, plus Neil Fallon and Mitch Harris both do a sterling job when they appear.

This is a solid Soulfly record, coincidentally, the new Sepultura's solid too. Nothing especially great, but steadily solid.

It's alright. The vocals suck hard though. Max is losing his voice.

Max sounds a lot like the Meshuggah guy at times. But that fucker featured on KCS is god awful. Ruins the entire song imo.

Mitch Harris? He's a bit of an acquired taste which is why I think a lot of people are put off Napalm Death.

Curse.

I have no fucking idea why they would have Mitch do vocals instead of Barney from ND

Mitch and Max are good mates apparently. Mitch used to help look after Zyon and change his diapers in the 90s.
