Side B looks like the proggy side with all those lengthy passages. Some of then are almost 7 times as long as the stuff on Side A.

Record Store Day is the time for gimmicks and collectibles so I guess it doesn't hurt anybody that this is exists. Unless you are an avid Guiness Book of World Records buyer, and now you have to buy the brand new edition with the new records for "shortest album" and "most pointless album" in it.

lol...I'm not big on grind but at least most grind albums are usually longer. I think... maybe it will be good, who knows. but I think the point of it is in the length of it, which doesn't require listening. maybe I just don't get grind.

Pestiferous

grind is a pretty simple genre, built on lots of repetition. if band's made a grind song/album too long it'd be zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz hard

that's why the best grind is raw as fuck, ear-splitting, and only like 10 minutes long. not like nasum (lol) or pig destroyer (not even grind) who are too clean and too long

get me?

unless your name is carcass grinder, fear of god, or the county medical examiners in which case you can make an album 20 hours long and it wouldn't matter it'll still probably beat out anything else in this database

This is a monumental achievement in the musical world. In a society gripping onto old traditions in music, this pushes true boundaries. We, as a modern people, have grown accustomed to song lengths of four or five minutes. What a hearty dose of music that can be when one gets too much of it. However, this genius idea absolutely shatters that notion, bringing us to our knees and forcing us to beg for more. Not only does this 83 seconds contain some of the most thought out songs I have ever heard, but it also pushes the boundaries of the musical spectrum- packed with sounds nobody has ever heard before. On top of all of this genius production, musicianship, and flat out bold behavior, they also push deeply into the inner-psyche of the human condition; thus causing us to question how well our time here on earth is spent, and how to find beauty in the short period of time we have.

The capacity of human intelligence seems to limit the capabilities to expand upon any possible creative aptitudes. Indeed, if one cannot even notice the facets that the ingenuities around him are comprised of, how can he be expected to fashion a beast of his own? This inveterate sense of constraint is a great blow to the veracity of mankind's abilities. It restrains us and holds our minds to the ground below, averting any possibility of rising above ourselves to something greater; something not fathomed by the conventional mind. This concept of seeking to go beyond one's self, known as "transcendence", is essentially a gateway to unlocking pieces of ourselves that can lead to some of the most elaborate and significant creations of our world. For many, this quest to transcend and form creations that were once considered unthinkable and overwhelming consumes life. Certainly it is rare to find such people, but when they are found, creative barriers are destroyed.
