good but the vocals sound kind of buried in the mix compared to their last release. and the drums
sound really muffled for some reason. i prefer the
production on the ep, but the song itself is great.

how come every hardcore/punk/screamo band ever has to follow up an amazing EP with a far inferior LP

hmm I actually liked that quite a bit, but I agree that the production took a hit.

fti - I wasn't calling this "faux hardcore," I was condemning the snobs that do.

The song itself isn't like OMG great, but I can dig it.

Seeing as Vales hasn't even put out their proper LP yet, this statement doesn't apply at all (hoping it's not the case once it's released).

How does that not apply? They're following up a great EP with an LP (that could be inferior who knows)

It doesn't apply because the album isn't out yet, so we don't know that. He said they "follow up an amazing EP with a far inferior LP," meaning the album WILL be inferior. He doesn't say it could POSSIBLY be inferior.

he was saying that he liked the EP, and was assuming the LP wouldn't be as good based on the one song

why are you guys arguing about this?

That was actually going to be my next comment after Trebs' response, haha. Late nights being bored as hell.

Cool song. The production doesn't bother me that much actually.

Dear lord, that production is garbage. There is absolutely no emotion behind the playing. It just sounds sterile and I'm going to assume it's because of the way it was recorded. Looking forward to this anyway
