The Academy Is... A Five-Piece 2007-01-23 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 5 Comments | Australian guitarist Michael Guy Chislett, ex- of Butch Walker's touring band, has officially joined Illinois pop-punkers The Academy Is...
A recent promotional shot taken for Hot Topic pictures three of the band's members, including Chislett, wearing skinny jeans. Chislett worked with the band in the recording of their upcoming second album, taking the place of sacked guitarist Tom Conrad, at the request of Walker, who produced the record.
Walker and Chislett will continue to work together under the name 1969 with drummer Darren Dodd.

wait(i'm reading it "the academy is's third album santi.that's right, right?) i thought the new album was supposed to be called chop chop...
Article from SPIN magazine:
[[[The album, called Chop Chop, is due in March. "It's going more quickly than we expected," Beckett said. And quickly is exactly how the band likes to tackle things. The album title comes from, as Beckett put it, "our busy schedules. There's no time for any self-reflection because everything is so chop chop. We're not frustrated by this, we're trying to urge people to take a minute from their lives and breathe and analyze and take it all in."]]]]
??????????????????????
any way i just want the new new record,it'll be awsome
