Hardcore bands cover Minor Threat every day. This one lacks heart.
|
| |
sounds pretty cool
|
| |
Man, this band sucks balls no matter what they are playing.
|

Band became irrelevant ever since Frank left.
|
| |
Why are covers on YouTube news?
|
| |
The rest of the members can give as much heart as they want but that vocalist is going to sink them.

Band is missing its defining member. Also, they've been covering Minor Threat songs for years. LOL

They've only released one fucking EP, jesus christ give them a chance.
I still have (some) hope
|

Now people hesitate to go to their concerts because of the new frontman.
|

Decent cover, nothing more nothing less.

you have a point but Carter-era Gallows were flawless to me so it's kind of like they're beating a dead horse now. He just gave the band it's original atmosphere and now that he's gone Gallows just resemble a hardcore cover band.

I miss Alexisonfire =(

thrice's cover of seeing red/screaming at a wall is superior

It's looking a lot like the Max Cavalera/Sepultura split to me. While Frank's gone off and done something different and will invariably start turning back to his roots if Pure Love stagnates, Gallows will struggle to win over fans and critics with their studio recordings, even if they maintain the stage presence.

some vocalists just cant be replaced. ie. saosin without anthony green or when crafter tried to replace ed butcher in prom queen (which is a lesser example). and i'm not saying it is right, but often times vocalists tend to become bigger than the band as a whole, and when they leave it almost always has the tendency of ruining them. BMTH would cease to exist without oli, which is not as much a credit to his talent as it is to the image he created for that band.
