The Suburbs is lame.

but I'm glad Cee Lo Green and Mumford and Sons got recognition.

I'm also glad Justin Bieber won, just so the haters can get more upset. "OMG JUSTIN BIESASJDFBER SUCKZZZ HEZ SO GAY FUCKIN FAGGOT LOLOL I LISTEN TO SLIPKNOT"
Yes, that's what every Biebster hater sounds like.
Ever.

I can only assume that the average bloke (is that an actually offensive british insult, i only mean it in jest) equates these awards to the Grammys.

lol bloke isn't an insult, it's just a word for guy

and no one in britain equates these awards to grammys, even though grammys are about just as meaningless

do you think anyone outside of america has heard of lady antebellum?

Arcade Fire performed and seemed pretty stoked to win, as did Cee-Lo and Rihanna

Glad Laura Marling won too, that was deserved

Arcade Fire's two awards were the only two I agreed with, scene as most of the nominations were so pathetic.

Saying that, this years winners are much more respectable than in the previous few years.

This

Thought this years was much better than the last few. As far as these sort of awards shows go, I thought it was more diverse than usual

Had no idea the british were just as ignorant about the United States's music scene as our general population is. I mean, Justin Beiber, really??

The brits has always been an awards show that caters to more mainstream music.

And Plan B is definitely not underrated on this site because he's wank.
