Hope it sounds more like Canada Songs with either somewhat longer songs or or alot of short songs so the record isn't as short as Canada Songs.

Regulator: They don't sound anything like Kittens. Its hard to describe Daughter's sound... I guess a mix between psyopus, dilligner escape plan, and the locust. (But that really doesn't even describe them right) Id check them out. Both albums are incredible, but Canada Songs is more towards a grind/mathcore sound.

Hell songs was compositionally their greatest feat and I have yet to listen to any grind/metalcore/noisecore that matches in originality. Much love for these guys and I have been waiting on this album for over two years now.

Cool. Yeah the short length works to their advantage I think. Much more than 11 minutes of Canada Songs just would have been excessive.

So the majority here like Hell songs over Canada songs it seems? I don't have Hell Songs so maybe that would change my opinion. I just like Canada songs cause its so loud/weird/over the top and nothing sounds like it. Whats Hell songs like compared to Canada Songs?

hell songs sounds nothing like canada songs at all, its like canada songs with less harshness and instead of shrieks there is a drugged up elvis.

I wouldn't say it doesn't sound at all like Canada Songs, just not much like it. Guitar-wise, hells songs is similarly frenetic but really everything on Hell Songs is just a step up from Canada Songs (vocally, it's arguable, but I prefer drunk Elvis to catholic-schoolgirl screams).

Couple things... first off, just because a band names an album "Canada Songs" doesn't mean they're from Canada. Daughters are from the beautiful city of Providence, RI. A city which I call home. This record clocks in a 28 minutes and is their best album in my opinion. It's pretty absurd. There's plenty of things on this record that will shock you. You're not expecting this shit.
