Noah and the Whale Robbed

2009-10-01 by K. Prince | 14 Comments
Twickenham folk group Noah and the Whale, as of September 29th, have had all of their touring equipment stolen. After leaving their trailer in a Manchester parking lot overnight, the band returned the next morning to find everything stolen. The band stresses that fans keep an eye on websites like eBay for any of their gear to show up - many of the gear was unique to the band.

While the band will continue touring, vocalist Charlie Fink says he wouldn't mind some support: “That would be really cool, everyone turning up with guitars! If anyone wants to give us anything they can, or bring anything along and join in!"

Noah and the Whale are currently touring in support of their sophomore release The First Days of Spring. The First Days of Spring saw an August release in the UK but will be released in the USA on October 6th, 2009.

I was hoping the inclusion of parenthesis would apply my hyperbolic statement to bands to make it on topic, as well as all thieves, but I guess it wasn't obvious. serious business and all that

It's a hot trend because all you gotta do is look up some tour dates and you just got yourself a free guitar. This is why you have to kick it old school, sleep in the van.
