Sorry Batman, not sure I'm with you on this one mate. From what I know, it wasn't as if Jason Tate was plastering all over his website that he had an exclusive. It was in his blog... Which is tricky to find in itself.

As a casual reader of that site, he has done a good job of building it up & gaining exclusives. I think Sputnik would love to have the amounts of interviews & other things those guys get.

Does he have a "holier than thou" attitude sometimes? Arguable either way, but probably no more than what the average person would have in his position. Call me naive, but he also seems very genuine at times to me.

Let's just hope that Brand New can put out another killer album.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that 'marketing ploy' or not, that website has given more than it's taken as far as I'm concerned. It's his business & he is trying to make a living out of it, so that means marketing will come into play on occasions.

But like I said, and I may be in the minority, whether it be reviews, news or whatever, that site has given me almost as much info/opinion as Sputnik has over the past couple of years. I will leave it at that.

and does more damage than brokencyde, but that is my opinion only. That website was a good place
when start it, but it got corrupted, like what happen with anything else with time.

Tate will do anything for Brand New. Anything. And yeah, it's genuine, but it's borderline insane
too. It's unprofessional in ways you may not be aware of, he talks about "loyalty" to the band and
what have you, trash anyone who disagrees with him and keeps adding annoying drama about so many
things surrounding the band - from TBS to exclusives that Brand New gave to Rock Sound and Kerrang!
- that it's good to see that at least the band don't give a shit about this.

Brand New are a rock band. And one of the best in the whole fucking world right now. If they don't

I've seen them twice, and both times Jesse looked completely bored and just went through the motions. His voice sounded like shit, too.
