Axl is back! Arrested that is.

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose was arrested in Stockholm early this morning (June 27) after allegedly biting a security guard in the leg outside his hotel, police said.

Rose, who performed in the Swedish capital last night, was being held on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard, as well as causing damage to the Berns Hotel where the alleged scuffle took place, police spokeswoman Towe Hagg said.

Hagg said Rose was intoxicated during the confrontation, which broke out around 8 a.m., and would face questioning after he sobers up. "He was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away," she said. A prosecutor will then decide whether to press charges against him, Hagg said.

It was unclear what caused the fight, but Swedish tabloids said the guard tried to intervene when Rose started arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby.
Fredrik Nylen, one of the police officers who helped arrest Rose, was quoted by the daily Aftonbladet Web site as saying that the singer acted aggressively toward police and had to be "handcuffed and restrained" in the hotel. "He kept a high profile, so to speak," Nylen was quoted as saying.

Guns N' Roses played a concert in Stockholm's Globe Arena last night, and had been partying at a well-known night club before the scuffle, Aftonbladet said.

Just when you think he's actually changed, he drops the ball again.
Damn I'm good for one liners!

You thought he changed? He'll be stage diving fists first into audiences even when he's in a wheelchair. This Message Edited On 06.27.06

The new songs was the worst of the gig too i've heard. They released a couple of extra tickets before the weekend, considered going but my wallet told me not to.

Oh, it will be released eventually. But I think he's determined to wait until everybody's lost faith that it will ever be released.

Axl Rose... such a character

With all these delays on the album, and how long its been worked on. It basically has to be the greatest rock album of all time, or no one will ever take Axl serious again.

I don't hate him at all, and I take him seriously as ever. In fact, I think It's awesome that he still does crazy rock-star stuff that isn't skag (cough Doherty cough). Bite as many authority figures as you can Axl! Bite your way out of that cell!

Why? What does he owe the public? Why isn't he allowed to spend as long as he likes working on an album? He has a life outside of making Chinese Democracy you know.

He's not saying he owes the public anything. He's saying the sad thruth. And that's if the album isn't fantastic, his career will be even more non-existant than before. The millions that waited for it aren't going to bother with him again. This Message Edited On 06.28.06

Axl's career is was completely non-existent last year, so you can't really get any lower than that in the public eye. Whatever happens in his future, the legacy of Axl Rose will live on.

If that's how you treat the bands you love, then fine. But personally, I don't feel a band owes me anything, in fact I owe so much to the band! As far as I'm concerned, Axl can take as long as wants on making his music, it's not really any of my business.

It's such a shame Axl is acting that way. I think that he feels a deep frustration about what he did to the band. I am sure he knows that the band will never be the same again without Slash, Duff, Gilby and Matt, so I guess that's why he's acting so stupidly. I agree that "Chinese Democracy" should never see the light, it would be better if he went solo. Guns N' Roses was a fantastic dream and now is over. Sorry. Greetings from Caracas, Venezuela.
