As we all know, Canadians = Guitar Villians. 1 to 1 really.

Guitar Villians are fueled by Satan so they are mightier than Guitar Gods.
|
| |
guitar villainz!!!
including tabs for each song is an interesting idea, though. i approve.
|

You're thinking of the Super Devil.
|
| |
smart fucking move, even though I didn't like III a lot, more bands should do this, maybe then guitar hero would die
|
| |
No I understand, once I tabbed out a whole album for a friend of mine because he loved it so much and then after he had it all learned he didn't like it as much as before because, as you would say, it lost the magic of the listen. Thankfully I'm not the same way so I like this idea :]
|
| |
i'd be stoked to get the tabs. billy talent isn't too hard to play but are generally pretty interesting musically.
|
| |
but that doesn't happen to me! so I want the damn tabs!
|
| |
If you can get the tabs online anyways, shouldn't you be getting pissed at those sites that offer tabs, too? This bonus is an option, and a great one at that. Those who want to play the music can get a 100% correct tab without waiting for someone else to tab it out.
If you're concerned about losing "the magic" don't get the deluxe edition.
|
| |
You can still look up tabs on the internet. I wouldn't normally get this irate about something so insignificant but are Billy Talent that technical? they aren't technical no, but having all those parts played on one guitar is a very interesting playing style
and whitelocust is rightAlbums are supposed to retain their mystery and this is exactly how to make sure that it doesn't happen. so your problem with this concept is that you think allowing guitarists to have the sheet music is the same thing as learning how they wrote the songs or something?
|
| |
Kris the Super Devil is dead
|
| |
that's a pretty outrageous claim to make: that you, not the artists, know what their album should do.
thinking outside convention and altering the product is what gives us progress and change.
|
| |
not much that's what I'm trying to figure out
|
| |
WhiteLocust owns this thread.
I think this is a great idea really.
|
| |
I haven't Benzum
LOL
|
| |
WhiteLocust is very right.
Plus, tabs doesn't kill "THE MAGIC" of songs for everyone. I actually enjoy a song *more* after learning to play it.
|
| |
I really like this band but this is an interesting idea as long as it's not outrageously expensive.
|
| |
where are you going with this benzum, this is the first argument of yours I can't rationalize
|
| |
I think this is a cool idea. my two cents
|
| |
I don't see how the tabs are a main focus. When I write the main focus is the actual process of everything coming together and the endless layers and changes that follow, guitar tabs are a mere fraction of the final product, let alone an even smaller fraction of the whole process itself. The magic you speak of cannot be transferred when some guitar player plays the song because only the person who wrote it can put that feel into it that gives it the magic, and if the guitarist can find that magic then there's no magic lost and he just got some ups
|
| |
assuming this wasn't happening, if I tabbed out these songs perfectly, would you be pissed at that
|
| |
This is an amazing idea actually, it would be awesome to have a real back track when playing their songs.
And Benzum, no one's forcing you to read the tab before you listen to the album.
|
| |
Not a huge fan of this band apart from a couple of songs, but this seems like a brilliant idea.
|
| |
Not a fan of the band, but it's a really great idea. thumbs up!
|
| |
damn double post!!
|
| |
its a good idea
|
| |
I'm starting to like this idea, it could help with a guitar players timing
