Hopefully this will be better than the last one and more like "Whatever people say I am..."

Yes! really looking foward to this, especially with Josh Homme. I wonder if it will be fun like the first album or dark and moody like the 2nd? I'm guessing it might be heavier (by arctic monkeys standard) but still retain the moody atmosphere of the 2nd album, who knows though, I could be completely wrong.

weird titles for them, they seem like mystical and shit

given how phenomenal their first album is and the fact they live about 5 miles away from me it's a nightmare i still haven't heard Nightmare in its entirety, i should get on that. this will likely rule.

Well this IS supposed to be their 'psychadelic' album

i havent read anything about it but arctic monkeys plus psychadelic sounds like it will equal ridiculous, whether that's ridiculously bad or good i can't say

That album seemed way too rushed, it was ok but the songs were too short at stopped once you started getting into them. If just a few more months work was put in, it would of been brilliant.

I hope it's not more Favourite Worst Nightmare stuff. That got boring so quickly compared to how amazing the debut was.

Heh, no the Circa is for the skate company, I have just had the same username for everything for many years so I figured why change it now. If my damn picture would show under my name it would be Alex Turner but it wont show.

Not really into this band but they certinally seem to be churning out new albums pretty quickly

not as fast as many of the British alt rock bands that are only half as good.

The best bit is that they are (in my opinion) classic albums, no filler.

Favourite Worst Nightmare was better than Whatever People Say I Am...

Both of the albums are pretty different from each other. Whatever People Say I Am was my first album of theirs I heard, so it
has a certain nostalgic feel to it every time I go back to listen to it (besides its just flat out amazing.) Then I got their EP's
which were pretty similar to their debut. Favourite Worst Nightmare was excellent but I don't consider it a classic. It almost
seemed like it had an eerie feel to it on some of the songs.

Well this IS supposed to be their 'psychadelic' album

is it really? Thats damn good news. Where did you hear about that?

That's what I really liked about it I think. It just hit me as a much better album as a whole. I loved the first LP but I think there was a bit of filler. When they got it right on that album though, it was awesome!

This new album will hopefully be their best thanks to Josh Homme. I'm hoping for a stoner vibe off it

I thought that actually, but then thought that bands like Kyuss and QOTSA were both big on the drugs.
