Richard Ashcroft Arrested 2006-06-21 by Stormy Smiley Face | 8 Comments | Richard Ashcroft was arrested and released June 19 for erupting into a youth club and demanding to work with the young teenagers there. According to witnesses he refused to leave and the staff was forced to call the police where he was arrested and then released a couple hours later after paying an £80 fine.
The singer performed possibly his biggest solo gig in Manchester at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Saturday two days before he was arrested.

Worst rockstar related arrest ever. Ashcroft makes the odd great song amid a whole load of mediocrity, but I've never read an interview where he's come across as anything other than being insufferable.
