Amputechture Tracklisting 2006-06-20 by Syncratic | 16 Comments | The recently-titled release 'Amputechture' has now officially been given a tracklisting by the band. As with the title, this information was provided by the webmaster of the top Mars Volta fansite, the Comatorium.

Yeah definitely a religious thread running through these titles...
1) Vicarious Atonement (obviously),
2) Tetragrammaton - Greek for 'four letters', referring to the Judaic name of god, Yahweh (traditionally spelled 'Yweh')
3) Asilos Magdalena - Magdalena = Mary
4) Day Of The Baphomets - Baphomet is a demon, whose name is descended from Belphegor, one of the seven arch-demons in the old testament, who personified sloth, along with Beelzebub (gluttony), Leviathan (envy), Asmodeus (lechery), Mammon (avarice), Satan (anger), and Lucifer (pride)
