not a big fan of christ illusion - but slayer have done enough good stuff to warrant this being checked out....it is slayer after all!

i don't like it when bands like Slayer are shocked because they are playing "fast". Christ Illusion was "fast" for the sake of it and it wasn't even better than Diabolus in Musica, not to mention Seasons in the Abyss. Slayer have done some very cool slower stuff.

I dont have much of their more recent stuff but I'll definitely get this.

I don't think this will be worth my time. Slayer has always sucked to me. Their pre 1994 stuff was always decent, and then they started sounding the exact same with every album after Divine Intervention. Christ Illusion wasn't bad however.
