No offense, because Laiho is a good guitarist, but he is a jerk. If you read the virtuoso issue of Guitar World, Laiho is pretty damn cocky. The specs on his guitar are nice, though. EMG's have a very hot output. And the ebony fingerboard and trem are nice features to have.

The ESP should cost around $1300. The LTD's are like the Epiphone take on the Wylde sig., so it'll probably cost around $700.

Hell no. This guitar is a ripoff from what I've seen so far. A Laiho sig been available in Japan for some time, and the price converted to nearly $3000. It really isn't that good of a guitar anyway.

Dude Alexi is not an asshole. I met him at Virgin records in Phoenix for a signing before a show (that was the most kick ass show ive ever seen) but i asked a couple in depth questions and he answered them in detail, and didnt even mind. he was really chill. and hes fucking amaizing at guitar so he can be cocky, hes deserved the right. and i want his guitar.

He is not an asshole or cocky at all. When I saw CoB live, he was hanging around outside the venue before the show talking to fans and shaking hands. He's a really nice guy.

I cant say ive ever met alexi laiho though i plan to see them March 19th. I think his ESP signature guitar is almost an exact copy of the Jackson Randy Rhoads guitar. I believe that when Alexi's original Jackson RRs all got stolen, he asked Jackson to make him a very quick model of his own. They said it would take like a month, then ESP called and said they could have one for him in like a week for his shows, and thats how i believe he got affiliated with ESP

Its like 1100 dollars. i saw it in my magazine. adn it is very good. the body is awesome of course and even though its single pickup its very good pickup. the finish is sweet as hell too.

Chris Ammot of Arch Enemy also has an ESP signature model guitar.
