Woah dont get me wrong Puddle, Corgan is a fucking rock god in my book. But seriously after coming up with material such as "Gish" and "Siamese Dreams" and "Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness" and then doing something like Zeitgeist, you really should know when to just call it a day. I don't recall anyone saying anything about him needing to say ah "fuck life" and go "sit in a corner." He could very well go on and do something else music related.

Why? Zeitgeist was pretty good--people seem to have difficulty realising that albums don't have to be mind blowing classics to be enjoyed

The Smashing Pumpkins are basically already his solo project, he's the only original member and no one even cares who the replacement musicians are. He should just change the name of the band to "Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins"
