Hmmm, I'm unsure this is the right move. These 2 guys were darn good.

That makes me very sad. Hopefully John knows what he's doing. At least there will be a new CD coming up...eventually.

Obligatory 'John Butler needs a shower' joke post.

Hope there's no dip in quality. This is one of my favourite bands
| |
yeah read this sometime last week
i honestly don't think it will make much of a difference

Yeah, he already changed drummers between Three and its follow up and there was no descernable defect. They were arguably one of the best rhythm sections in AusRock, so we'll see what eventuates.

I think this is a very silly move on behalf of John Butler. I agree with you Legalduck, the quality better be up to standards on his next album
| |
Hey, I just thought of something... Maybe he'll grab the Wolfmother guys! Haha.
| |
haha now that would be quality viewing.
| |
Ouch. Mike and Shannon were great at what they did, it's a real shame to see them split with John. Like ohcleverhansyou said, I hope he knows what he's doing.
| |
damn. I don't doubt JB's decision-making though, especially after Grand National.
| |
The rhythm section had a lot to do with that being such a good CD.

Band is beastly live, i'm curious to see what happens.
