Good ol' DOOM. Pretty much the same solid stuff as always, from what I hear...

A lot of the songs are actually 3+ minutes so yeah they're samples then.
|
| |
i enjoyed Born Like This but its not much diff from his other albums
|
| |
too formulaic and not really interesting
|
| |
I wish this was about an album of the DOOM trilogy.
|
| |
album is boring
|
| |
That link is sending me to a different myspace. Just put up www.myspace.com/mfdoom
|
| |
I really like the rapping but production gets stale
|
| |
you've got it backwards syngates
|
| |
sorry
|
| |
Syngates doesn't have it backwards... doom is known for being a sick mc more than for his production; he's really at his best here with respect to rapping. His production is dcent, as it's always been... which knocks the album down a peg for me.
This isn't boring or terrible, it's just not something you'd expect to be released in 2009. There's no way this is worse than a 3/5.
|
| |
his myspace still says MF Doom...
|
| |
The music is getting stale, still love the rapping though. I want him to do something different with the production next time, cause this won't hold my attention for long.

anyone get a chance to check out the thom yorke track? theres the answer right there; just have yorke produce an entire album for doom. it would be a breath of fresh air for all. This Message Edited On 03.22.09

which track did yorke produce?
|
| |
none... he did a remix separately
edit: remix was of gazillion ear, and it's not even close to as good as the original track

i never said it was as good, but if you read all the comments, all you hear is people talking about how doom's production has gotten stale (quite frankly, i dont feel so as it sounds nothing like mm..food? or doomsday). This Message Edited On 03.23.09
