The Fray Cover Kanye West

2009-02-17 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 16 Comments
Relentlessly earnest midwestern rockers The Fray's cover of Kanye West's 'Heartless' comes Kanye-endorsed, and is available for streaming and download from the latter's blog.

I think too much people are just saying things to say thing right here. I think it's nice they cover it, and if you don't like it don't listen it instead of letting your night ruined..cough :')

I assume he means sampling. Which isn't really stealing either, but rock fans tend not to have the most rounded appreciation of music-making.

That's what I figured, but I was hoping anyone who wants to discuss music on this site realizes that sampling has been used fairly heavily for at least 20 years, and accepted by most people for around half that time. (I think)
