Over the past 6 years, Devin has acquired the role of tour dad to Haste The Day and we all want to thank him for always taking care of his boys.

But don't worry, Haste The Day is still going strong. . When Brennan, Devin, and I started Haste The Day in 2001, God gave us a clear vision of where He wanted to take this band. We are still focused on spreading His light and love to a world that is in dire need of both. Although we have faced many changes over the years, we know that we need to keep going. Its not just the individual members that make up HTD, it the greater message that hold us all together. With each change in Haste The Day, God breathes new life and hope into our hearts.

We are so grateful to all of our friends and fans for their undying support. You guys make this possible. We got some awesome things lined up for 2009 that we are excited about.

The band is searching for a new drummer and serious applicants can send an e-mail to marklafay@gmail.com.

^No one cares what you have to say Sylent.

This is a pretty rough blow to HTD, Devin was a stellar drummer. I dont know if they'll be able to recover and make a very good record now that both Jason and Devin aren't in the band anymore.

Remember he did the clean vocals too, so they're pretty screwed overall.

Really? I've seen live videos and Stephen does the majority of clean singing. This Message Edited On 12.25.08

Maybe I have the wrong band in mind, but I could've sworn he did the majority of the clean. :P

Or at least half.

Brennan (the guitarist) and Stephen do the clean singing.

I thought there were 2 Devins in the band or something like that. Devin Chaulk was the name of the guy who does the clean vocals and I'm almost positive he's the bassist.

This sucks btw. HTD are losing too many members :/

Brennan Chaulk does the majority of the clean vocals and hes the guitarist. Devin Chaulk plays drums and does chip in for some of the group vocals live, but you don't hear him on the records. Stephen does some of the clean vocals but its mostly Brennan.

And yes, this does suck.

123. I thought Dreamer was pretty freaking boring and disappointing. I'm certainly doubting the longevity of HtD now.

This is a big blow to the band, Devin is an amazing drummer. I hope they can still pull it together and come out with something better than Dreamer. It's going to be hard without Devin though. But...I know God will give them an amazing new drummer. This Message Edited On 12.23.08

^^ I agree, but it's still ranked so ridiculously high on IMDB... anyway. I also think this band isn't that great. Although I might give a couple of their songs another chance seeing as how everyone is complimenting the drumming.

This is coming from someone who rates Funeral For A Friend, Rise Against & Underoath as 5.

People who listen to bands like these & Haste The Day don't deserve to be spoken to.

Touchy touchy. Sorry if I have an opinion of my own and don't rate every beatles album a 4.5 or a 4.

I worry about people like you who can leave a comment like that on Christmas. This Message Edited On 12.29.08
