I didn't see it in the recent news (dating back to December 4th), but I apologize profusely if this list has already been posted in the News section.

In other news, glad to finally see some love for Estelle. This Message Edited On 12.14.08

Well she is hot.
I've only heard Death Magnetic from this list. I wonder if they made this list by looking at their best selling albums of the year...

Not bad........not the best. I don't think anyone is going to completely agree with any of these lists. But that's ok.

Not much happened musically in '08 I reckon.

Kings of Leon are very very average and they are number one.

eh. I mean Katy Perry is catchy and all but... 45th best for the whole year?!
Not so much. She serves her purpose for a cutesy, I'm-a-rebel-because-I-have-bicurious-tendencies pop artist, but if your lyrics are along the lines of "You change your mind like a girl changes clothes/you PMS like a bitch I would know" you probably shouldn't be in the top 50.

I'm skeptical about the list... although Santogold, Estelle, MGMT, and Jason Mraz are all pretty good.
