We've announced a couple of guests on the record but "I wish you luck with a capital F" is just one of the thousands of genius ideas thought up by Elvis Costello and he's gonna be singing on Folie a Deux. this isn't a typical appearance as he's alongside the guys in a couple of the decaydance bands on the song. Either way this has been an amazing experience for fall out boy as he is one of our heroes, especially so for patrick. We can't wait for you to have the chance to hear it.

Maybe Fall Out Boy will be able to gain a little bit of respect now... Or maybe Ironpriest is right (more likely).

lol, how can this record be credible with god damn Debbie Harry in one track, Elvis Costello in another, and Lil' Wayne in another one? (Spat to the rescue)

I wonder why he thought it would be a good idea to collaborate with THEM?

if i cared about elvis costello, i would probably say something about how this is horrendously awful, probably in some exaggerative tone. but i don't, so i won't.

Poor attempt at credibility by FOB.

Why has he agreed to this?

I would admit that I like some of Fall Out Boy's stuff, but it's just way too trendy to bash them.

Who cares? It's not as if knowing who Elvis Costello is will make the enjoy it more.
wow you FOB fanboys are slow, you totally missed the point, what he means is that FOB fans have no knowledge of music whatsoever and wont know who Costello is and probably think U2 and Green Day are the greatest bands of all time, also they probably totally marked out when the Backstreet Boys returned.

If he likes AILD, hes not metal.

It's not like he has to worry about "credibility" or anything. His legacy is set. He's just enjoying himself. They probably asked him if he'd guest, and he probably just said "sure." Deal with it.
