The Kill, Rooftops, and What I've Done are boring enough on REAL guitar...
There's several other good songs though.

I have been waiting so long for "Hotel California" and "Crazy Train." That's all I asked for, some cool stuff otherwise though.

Mars Volta wouldn't be too bad if they got rid of the female singer, and I could care less about At the Drive In.

It didn't look good at first for GH4 but they rebounded and put together a pretty solid catalog. Plus Ted & Zack are embarrassingly better than Tom & Slash. That said, Rock Band has a better song list, so I'd go there.

Trapped Under Ice, interesting choice...

They figured put a lesser known Metallica song in so people will want to buy Guitar Hero: Metallica.

This is kind of like the Guitar Hero 3 setlist. Some great tunes, but it's amid a sea of mediocrity and apathy.

I might pick it up when I have the cash to blow, but I'm really more jazzed for Rock Band 2 and the chance to play Painkiller.

I'm only gonna get this game for:

Some Might Say

The One I Love

Scream Aim Fire

Crazy Train

Pull Me Under

Parabola

Trapped Under Ice

Even though I don't like The Mars Volta or At The Drive-In, I still wanna see what
their like to play

This setlist SUCK BALLS compared to Rock Band 2's... GHWT just stole half of their
setlist... AND THEY REMOVED BULLET WITH BUTTERFLY WINGS... I WANTED TO
PLAY THAT SONG SO BADLY T_TThis Message Edited On 09.12.08

Holy poop!

Muse, At the Drive-In, The Mars Volta, 30 Seconds to Mars, 311, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Modest Mouse, Bob Segar, Coldplay, R.E.M. and TOOL have got me really excited about this release.

Goddamn... Now I can't decide between this and RB2... RB2 has all the great DLC... but this is a pretty stacked lineup of songs. They even picked one of the good Mars Volta songs!

Might have to get GHWT equipment, and then just get RB2 as essentially a huge trackpack...

They really SHOULD do a tech death version of this game, perhaps one devoted to beneath the massacre rather than older, less exciting heads like 'tallica and aerosmith

Now THAT would be a worthy purchase!

This is an awesome song list. Seriously, most of the songs here are just good clean fun, if I'm playing GH with friends and stuff thats all I'm looking for, not 'good' songs, just fun ones. And this is great.

Very cool! L'Via L'Viaquez is one of my favorite Mars Volta songs and it is a bad ass song guitar-wise I can imagine it's going to be fun as hell.

Keep in mind the setlists don't really mean much these days seeing as how the downloadable content is pretty much never ending. I've held out on Rock Band because they decided to fuck over the Wii.

No DLC, and no World Tour Mode. Why? Guitar Hero 4 promises the Wii will have everything the other two have. I think the guys at Rock Band need a new business manager..."Alright guys...I think we should give the shaft to the best selling system out there right now!"

Sorry...that was my rant. But I recently got a 360 so I guess I have nothing to complain about.

I didn't even see the last one. Zakk Wylde is a beast, that should be awesome! Could have picked a better Metallica song.

there are excellent songs on here but all around, I think Rock Band 2 has the better set list. plus there DLC is releasing some decent full albums soon so it's a good buy.
