I've accidentally submitted the news a few times due to connection problems, could someone delete the excess ones.
In regards to the art, I think it's OK, I like the metal fillings idea around the coffin, but it's nothing groundbreaking.

I don't hate the cover, but it does seem a bit... lazy? Maybe they were going for a more stripped down appearance for this cover (it certainly worked for the Black album)...?

I like it. Its simple and to the point and actually references the album title. Their name looks badass on it too (the Metallica).

I agree with the badassness of the name, the cover is ok... simple and it works. It would kind of stand out in a music store.

I think the album art is a bit dull looking, but then again, it is a magnetic coffin underground with the magnetic forces being represented by the black lines... can't do much else except engrave a cross into the coffin?

Good concept for a cover, but the photoshop work on the coffin was way too simplistic, the shadows. It's just way too undefined and yet clean and simple at the same time. Ugh. Not too bad, but yeah..

It's a tad obvious, and reminds me of a typical Alkaline Trio cover (if it wasn't so white). But other than that I think it's alright - except I'm pretty sure the album is going to be a fistful of shit.
