Unfortunately I can't listen to it now but I will soon enough. To think that a band i've pretty much worshipped for over 10 years is still going, amazing.

Sweet, I'll probably check this out later.
|
| |
so far this is much much better than Splinters
|
| |
it sounds so so so...offspring
|
| |
Not very good IMO :/
|
| |
it sounds so so so...offspring Since when is that a bad thing? I'm giving it a listen right now and the first three tracks are ace.
|
| |
i dont mean its a bad thing, its just as if already listend somewhere.
i like the first 5 track so far^^
|
| |
Half Truism, Trust In You, and Fix You are excellent, with the latter being the best.
|
| |
listening...
|
| |
Ok, just got done. It's good other than a few ideas that didn't work out in my opinion. It seemed they felt threatened by the likes of Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. Only threatened, I didn't say they were coping them.
|
| |
On the last song now. Pretty good, need more listens but anyway.
Did not like nothingtown though, too much of a Green Day feel...
|
| |
So unoriginal and redundant...same Offspring sound they've been sporting since Smash.
And Hammerhead had me excited.
=(((((((((
|
| |
Its not bad, its not anywhere near their best though.
|
| |
Much better than Conspiracy of One & Splinter
"Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?" - wow, did not expect that from The Offspring, though most will probably hate it
And agreeed, Nothingtown - such a Green Day feel
|
| |
after one listen this is definitely better than Splinters and about equal to Conspiracy of One and Americana but not close to Smash and Ixnay on the Hombre
|
| |
I always wanted to hear a sentimental acoustic song from The Offspring. "Kristy" is good but "Fix You" does it better though it's not really acoustic.
|
| |
nothingtown isnt that bad
|
| |
This really surprised me. I've never been an offspring fan, I find them average, but this was very very good. I'm impress and enjoying this a lot.
|
| |
Loving it.
|
| |
it sure is catchy though
idk, it seems kinda diverse compared to their older records.
still, i mean, that might just be me, since the offspring have always been one of the my favorite bands.
|
| |
On a side note, the Hammerhead video really blows. It's sub-Hit That quality. It's that bad.
|
| |
i have this weird feeling that this album will be the offspring's american idiot.
because now that i think of it, some of the songs sound more mature than their previous works, and unfortunately, it's been reminding me of where green day went with american idiot
|
| |
"i have this weird feeling that this album will be the offspring's american idiot."
I've heard that a lot, and I believe it too. However, I'd be kind of glad to see that happen. years of being synonymous with joke songs, The Offspring would do good being known good, serious stuff. Even if the explosion of emo kids wearing Offspring shirts happens, I'd like to see this album do really well.
|
| |
Love it, it's great.
|
| |
meh. starts out well, but devolves into mediocrity as it goes on.
