this building off the last article...but today I have found out that an apparently big portion of Mexicans are unreasonable. Of course it is led by metal heads and gangsters, anything less would be unacceptable.

epic fucking lols to this one. Mexico ftw, the land of angry headbangers.
|

I didn't know there were metalheads in Mexico. Mexico (and latin america in general) has one of the world's biggest and most devoted metal scenes...
|

is TojesDolan going to be in these riots
|

I always knew the internet was fucked up, but I didn't know that I would actually see an overwhelming response in favor of the beatings of innocent people based on their appearance.
Some of these kids were beaten up pretty severely from what I hear.

Oh sorry wait was i being a rational person lol emo fags got what they deserved lololol
|

I didn't know there were emos anywhere on the planet.

okay.. this just doesn't make sense xD
I mean I know metalheads and emo kids don't really..can like, be friends or something x'D
but.. really, I've been to ALOT of metal concerts. and i've seen thousand of metalheads and I'm more emo than metal.
but i've never had problems.
just pretty f**ked up situation if you ask me.
be what you wanna be, it's just a way of living and a way to express yourself.

tbh I always wanted to punch them before I even know what "emo" was.
But I never did because it's called self-control and not wanting 5 years for assault. Honestly, this is stupid that they've taken it this far (to riots/gang fights).
|
| |
Dude, it's Mexico
|
| |
These kids are all stupid. All of the music they listen stems from the same place.

I don't like the whole emo scene and everything, but I have to say that SoH11 is right, and that it's OK in my books to be different. Too bad society has to bring everyone else down, and I'm talking about preps thinking they run the show and think their all cool just cause they wear overpriced A + F clothes and walk around with the collars of their polo shirts popped, and then they go around acting like they run the show and bully those that refuse to conform to this sick modern day society. If there ever was an anti-conformist riot, I'd be the first in line.
|
| |
so according to Bren...
1) It's ok to be different
2) Some people that dress and act a certain way suck
Anyhow I've never gone for the emo scene in any way but this violence is ridiculous. Why can't we all be friends?
|

Appologies, perhaps i didnt word it properly. I just get kinda worked up when this kinda stuff gets brought up because I get bullied by these people at my school a lot. I just kinda got pissed about the thought cause its only one group of people that bully me cause I have long hair and wear ripped jeans and everything...

But wow, i DID sound pretty hypocritical thereThis Message Edited On 03.28.08

I'm pretty independed myself, and by that I mean I distance myself as far away form every trend. I go to a prep school, but when Im out I wear jeans and a tshirt. This growing non-comformist group is conforming in and of itself. People are conforming to an ideology that states you will not conform to anything else, so I tend to find this emo/independed trend to be almost hypocritical.

omg, i am laughing sooooooo hard right now...hahaahahaha
|

do you guys really find this amusing?
|

This is quite an interesting story. I must admit that I at first found it quite funny to hear of a bunch of metal heads beating the crap out of emos, but if you read the article, it's really just an anti-homosexual movent, or "emosexuals," as they are called.
