New Disturbed Single 2008-03-27 by Jom | 13 Comments | Chicago quartet Disturbed have posted "Inside the Fire" from their upcoming release Indestructible to the band's official mySpace page. The new addition complements "Perfect Insanity," which the band re-posted online two weeks prior.
It's been reported that "Inside the Fire" is "... about a girl [vocalist David Draiman] was in a relationship with. She's committed suicide, and he just has the voice of the devil over his shoulder trying to provoke him to take his own life to join her again, because the only chance for him to be with her again is if he takes his life. We're not condoning suicide off of this, it's just more of the temptation to join a girlfriend that was very confused and messed up and wanted out," according to guitarist Dan Donegan.

Pretty typical Disturbed, nothing too special. I personally find it kind of catchy though.

Even though the song is very formulaic, its still a good hard rock tune.

I'm a Disturbed fan, and despite my support of them, for some reason I was worried about this release. But I rather like this single, it's pretty good, and a catchy tune indeed. Great solo. The rest of the album should be...interesting.

ok song. at least mixed up the old disturbed with some soloing.........if it wasnt for the solo the song would be very very mediocre. it isnt bad, but they certainly couldve done better.
