Why does the beginning remind me of something by Chronicles of Israfel? but yeah, it sucks.

Definitely a step up from the Are You Dead tracks. Hasn't the opening riff been done already in one of their older albums? I like the use of harmonics about 3:10 into the song. This Message Edited On 01.28.08

My youtube buddy TimMerrick just emailed this to me. I was going to post it based on the how much I cared about the song. Well, the fact that I didn't speaks for itself.

Haven't all their riffs been done before in one of their older album?

Thought this was pretty good, hopefully this is one of the weaker tracks though.

I would have to say their last album had a lot of rehash in it, and judging from this song alone, sounds like another album of rehash.

i really love their latest album, anyway i think they wanted to be a bit slower this time or try some other experiment but failed and end up with this boring track...

i actually quite like this. admittely CoB are better when they're going full throttle, but this is already my favourite of their slow tracks.

Never was a big fan of COB but Follow The Reapers pretty good although overrated. Track's good.

I thought that was very good actually. Compared to their other slow songs, it's definately better than "Punch Me I Bleed," probably not as good as Angels Dont Kill or Everytime I die though.

Punch me i Bleed is soo much better then this with a even more gripping refrain.

Better than "Are You Dead Yet?" but that's really not saying much.

Okay song. About on par with the mediocre tracks on Are You Dead Yet.

It doesn't come close to being as interesting as anything off of their first two albums though. This Message Edited On 01.28.08

i've got all their albums, bodominflames, i'd forgotten about angels don't kill, but IMO this new one is better than both punch me i bleed, and everytime i die.

Children of Bodom the past couple albums have had the "Dragonforce effect." That means that a lot of their songs have similar sounds to them.
Doesn't mean this song is bad though. I quite like it.

its all right... nothing too too special though. I like the use of the keyboards on this song. I'm still gonna get the new album

It's not bad, but nothing really excited me. There's a couple of cool parts here and there, but it's the same old stuff we've heard from HCDR and AYDY...it might as well be a B-side from one of those albums.

This is pretty much what I expected though. I'm not really a fan of the slower Bodom songs though, except for Angels Don't Kill.

Yea, this definitely is not a step up from AYDY. The keyboard did have flashes of coolness, though.

All of Alexi Laiho's solos are identical, it starts out with a few melodic lines, some pinched harmonics, then some fast harmonic scale runs. He uses the same damn scale for EVERY solo. is it that hard to just use a different scale? Geez.

song is pretty good, but it gets a little old when all Bodom songs have the same sound. Still have some hope for the new album.

The sucky thing that seems to be happening here is that COB's fanbase is getting divided hardcore. I personally loved the direction they took with HCDR and I thought AYDY was an improvement on that (even though there was no song on that album as good as Bodom Beach Terror). I found the better part of Hatebreeder and FTR to be rather dull and un-engaing. I know I know, I must have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. I know what I like though, and HCRD and AYDY get me moving and bouncing and heabanging and such, they're just more energetic, even if they are less complex...or whatever. If Blooddrunk is more of that, I'm happy, even if almost no one else is.

I think CoB lost their touch with AYDY. HCDR is good, but definitely has a different sound than their earlier work. From the look of things, doesn't look like they'll ever top Hatebreeder or Follow the Reaper.

Yeah good band up untill Are you Dead yet?.

My problem is they seem to have taken the gain off of their guitars since AYDY and all their recordings seem flat as hell.

Not to mention their songwriting has changed, obviously not for the better.

And yeah, this song is utter crap but it doesn't suprise me.
