Slayer: Album Title, Release

2006-06-12 by nick962 | 11 Comments
Back with the original line up of "Seasons in the Abyss", with Dave Lombardo back on drums, "Christ Illusion" should have some great things to offer. Song titles so far are as follows:
Flesh Storm
Catalyst
Eyes of the Insane
Jihad
Skeleton Christ
Confearacy
Black Serenade
Catatonic
Cult
Supremist
No confirmation if that is the official track listing, but Tom Araya says that "No one is going to be dissapointed, it's going to blow everybody away. It's fast, heavy, and maybe faster than anything we've done before".
Cult and Jihad can now be purshased on iTunes.
The band is currently kicking off the first leg of their tour: "The Unholy Alliance" with bands Children of Bodom and Lamb of God

Shame, I prefer their slower music.

it might be alright, I'll try and get a copy from somewhere, but don't see myself buying it.

iv heard cult, jihad, and eyes of the insane (my mate illegally downloaded them, not me lol!) and theyre all pretty good, cult being the best of the three.

Are you canadian? The canadian iTunes has less songs(wich is really pointless and sucks) than the american one. So that might be why.

Hearing anything faster than songs off of Reign in Blood will make my head explode. Speed does not equal greatness.

Nah, I'm not Canadian. I'm American, and it ain't on there. I really want to hear the song though.

I think Cult is one of their best songs since the Seasons In The Abyss era. The lyrics are great IMO but a lot of people disagree with me. It looks as if this will be Slayer's most controversial release to date.

Slayer going faster then they used to huh? Is that even possible? lol. But whenever they do something really fast it sounds like they just threw it together. Hopefully itll be good. But hey its Slayer!
