Jamison Convington's project, E For Explosion, has officially signed with Eyeball Records. A 2008 release will be expected under the label.
Quote:
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to welcome E For Explosion into the Eyeball family! For those of you who may not know, E For Explosion is the work of Jamison Convington (formerly of Jamisonparker). We couldn't be any more happy to have such a great dude and gifted songwriter on our roster and we are extremely eager to get his new songs out to all of you. He also knows more about commercials aired in the 1980s than any of you. For now, please check out EFE on MySpace to preview demos off of their upcoming record.

Wait. So the band itself isn't the subject of the band link, but instead the label is? What the hell is going on here?

E for Explosion doesn't have a band profile so I just went with the most relevant thing.
it's news because not only did they sign, but it is also announcing that there will be a record out this year by the band.
