The goretastic video for the Wildhearts' new single 'Destroy All Monsters' has been posted to Youtube. Those with a low tolerance for blood and guts should be warned. Or just die, for God's sake.

Enjoy!

that's a tripped out, fucked up, fantastic video, for a hell of a song. these guys totally don't get the respect and success they deserve.

they'll be releasing a video for "the revolution will be televised" soon too, they were filming some live footage for it at the wolverhampton date of the x-mess tour, and there's a chance i might be in there somewhere!

I can understand why it had an 18 certificate and you need to sign up to YouTube to see it!! Pretty brutal, gorey and blood spattered.

So Ginger has finally accepted his awesome band aren't going to be a massive commercial concern anymore and go off to do something even less likely to get played on mainstream radio and TV - I like it! By deliberately alienating large sections of their potential, and current audience, I respect them all the more!

It was full blown, strange, and showed other facets of Ginger's personality - the less gregarious, warm and friendly side that some of us may have seen from time to time! Kind of world-weary, withdrawn, defeatist yet still defiant.

But mainly, the band just look killer as zombies, and it's got boobs. Albeit mutilated.

Still writing great songs with ace riffs, they're just angrier than ever these days!!!

Talk about schitzophrenic! This is the same guy who penned the songs on 'Silver Ginger Five' (a great party album with huge singalong tunes for those of you who didn't know!)

Is there nothing this man cannot do? Anywhere he can't take his music without being anything less than vital and life-affirming?

To me, they are few and far between, but Ginger truly is a musical genius, and easily one of the all-time greatest songwriters.

The Xmas Astoria show was fantastic, as was Milton Keynes earlier in the year - me and the wife were pretty gobsmacked we got to see them in such a small venue. Still, not everyone can be blessed with good taste!!!
