It's actually not too bad. Spencer learned how to low scream so it sounds cool. I downloaded another version of that song and it sounds way diffrent. Hopefully they have the version I have on the new album with a diffrent name. But both tracks are good. I can't wait to buy the new album.

There was a leak (actually a few versions) quite awhile ago I do believe.

Well, it's audible, but nothing special. I will check out the new album, I'm curious how they developed

There's hope here, but not much. None of the leaked tracks impressed me, or even really interested me, but I'm trying to keep an open mind.
At least it's better than Eighteen Visions' new song.

Well, if its anything like the genius work of They're Only Chasing Safety, its gotta be good.

It's a bit different. I'll give them credit, they're evolving their sound somewhat.

This album is gonna give underoath alot of cred. Spencer is by far one of the best vocalist in the genre and aarons Vocals improved alot too. Actually if you listened to the leaked demos its basically TOCS but alot harder and just overall improved.
Also writing on the walls is the weakest track. This is a glimse tocome. This Message Edited On 06.07.06

They both suck at what they do. The growls were horrible and fake. The singing is annoying. The drummer is probrally one of the ugliest kids i've ever seen.

Well Aaron is really ugly but you prob arent any better. And the vocals WERE "horrible and fake" like you WERE male before you got your sex change.
-Ok i got to learn not to get pissed off when someone flames Underoath.......cause it will prob happen alot. But i stand by the comment above. This Message Edited On 06.07.06

I think I heard the demo version of writing in the walls. It starts of with a double bass and goes from there. It's alot better then the studio version all the other websites.

I think the demo song titles are mixed up.....anyone? no?

They might be mixed up because the one I heard was a million times diffrent, especially when Spencer screams "brace yourself, c'mon brace yourself" it sounds nothing like writing on the walls. I'll find out which one it really is when I buy the album, but it was way better then the actual writing on the walls, even though it is good.

Some of the demo songs were named wrongly - correct.

I don't like this song. I only like In Regards To Self and Everyone Looks So Good From Here from their new album.

Yeah, So Am I. That'd be funny though. And who would be stupid enough to already do a review? That'd just reveal that they were a music pirate...

Anyone know a band called "The Bled"? I undug more of the new Underoath stuff, and it sounds pretty much like The Bled to me. Some songs at least. Maybe I'll like this one better than "They're only chasing safety"

lets see, sounds exactly like their other album, but with more metallic production. The new album sounds like Atreyu lite to me.

And I dreamt of you- Is that a hawthorne heights song title? Sounds like one.

I love the vocal change, sounds like his old vocals when he was in This Runs Through but much improvement. Man its just like TOCS but with improvements evertwhere.

This under mainstream rock, GRRRRR I voted post hardcore. This couldn't even get pop punk it had to get mainstream that is even worse. One thing that is terrible about underOATH in mainstream rock is who they are listed with. Seriously do they sound in the least bit like Good Charlotte or Simple Plan?

DTGL is a throwback to there original albums with dallas taylor who is now in Maylene and the sons of disaster.

i couldnt be more pleased. its darker, heavier and sounds very similar to Acts of Depression which was there debut which was straight metal.

im buying it for sure but not before i get the new ZAO.

now theres a band!!!
