Radiohead Top Billboard Charts

2008-01-10 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 9 Comments
The official release of Radiohead's In Rainbows has placed #1 on the Billboard Hot 200. The album sold 122,000 copies, including 28,000 downloads from various online stores. We can only speculate how many also paid for the "pay what you like" download.

You're right, looks like they're high and dry and everything is in its right place.

This post/joke was such a let down.

For fuck's sake guys, whyyy? This is all I need right now.

EDIT: Although I hate the references, it appears a certain midget posting below me copied my reference. I'm offended. This Message Edited On 01.11.08

I think we all need a reminder once in a while of just how Radiohead leave the market thinking "All I need". There's certainly been no lull in Radiohead buzz in recent months, and honestly, I think the media would feel almost nude without some news on the band to commit to videotape. I mean, I might be wrong, and maybe my head is in a fog, or perhaps I am a wicked child. It's even possible that I am citizen insane for making these claims, but how can you be sure? I do like how any and all buzz about the band has been positive recently, like they live in permanent daylight. Maybe their "pick your price" method will be given homage in the eventual autobiography written by one/all of the band members, in the chapter "How I Made My Millions".
Eh, I'm done. We should all stop whispering about how lucky these guys are... though I find that I can't. Radiohead buzz just excites me, fills me with kinetic energy. Maybe I should interview them. If only I were a talk show host...
First one to pick out all eighteen references is the winner.
