The 5′9″, 144-pound Marty has also been arrested for Corporal Injury to a Spouse/Cohabitant and Domestic Violence (picked up last night around 8:30pm), but he hasn’t quite figured out how to post bail–he’s still in jail, and you can follow his status of freedom on SacSheriff.com by searching under his name “Martin Lesley Crandall”. If anyone wants to spring $25,000, you can probably get really great seats to the next Shins show.
Both Elyse and Marty will be in court on 1/8 in Sacramento to have a hearing.

There isn't enough information here to jump to conclusions. This sort of shit between husband and wife is always fucked up and it is always easy to blame the man without thinking. The man is the only one who appears to have any sort of injury according to this article. My mom's had my dad thrown in jail overnight for absolutely nothing, then she bailed him out the next day. Women know they have the advantage in these situations and often abuse that power.
