Johnny Rotten Goes Mental...er

2007-11-30 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 8 Comments
In a surprisingly uncharacteristic move, former Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten took a break from being a caricature of himself earlier this week and actually did something interesting. Supposedly advertising the new Guitar Hero game, which features some of the band's music, Rotten wound up launching into a 30-minute rant against Guitar Hero, Tony Blair and other such topics, and throwing his microphone at the audience.

Watch footage of the performance here:

The reason he still has so called credibility is because hes just as much of a cynical old wanker who writes off everything not involved with himself, and at the same time writes off criticism, is because all the journalists n peers are now the same.

i thought it was pretty liberating. the dude has a vibrant personality and he doesn't hide fuckin any of it to impress people. anyone that thinks he's faded, he absolutely has not. he still has the same whatever attitude.

he's only gotten older, and doesn't represent "the young people" anymore, so people have rejected him. he's not a fuckin drunk or druggie on stage there, just take him as he is.
