i am very sad about this but they had a good run

Loved ‘Common Dreads’ as a lad.

They had a good run. Looking forward to seeing them on their tour later this year.

These guys tour pretty hard, so its not suprising things built up and they are all exhausted or burnt out. Most of them would be parents as well and thats a lot of time away from family

(though some of you will be interested to hear we’ve been busy revisiting the TTTS original multitracks.

^ Sounds like a remix/remaster or a re-record. I'd take any of those along with a repress of the original- it's been expensive for a while.

Not really surprised. Saw them last year and they were completely gassed. They need the pause.

Wonder if this has anything to do with the recent backlash against their guitarist for posting some centrist crap on instagram

Love this band, they've somehow managed to stay true to thereselves and not fall into the generic trappings of most other bands from that era. Even their weaker records stand out as being fairly unique amongst the scene. These guys are at their best when nothing is holding them back. I doubt it's the end for them, I feel like a well needed break and shift in pace could do them the world of good.

I hope they return. They've been solid their whole career, and still put on an excellent live show.

This makes me feel sad. I'm sad.
