That was pretty damn boring. A few catchy moments but, ultimately, quite forgettable. At least it's better than Avenged Sevenfold's new crap. That, however, isn't saying very much.

they need some new guitarists. i swear they never do anything exciting, which i think is what makes them kind of boring to me. their drummer could be better. i like the vocalist's clean vocals though. his screams/growls sound so forced. i always find 1 or 2 songs from each of their albums i like, but dont really listen to them

I agree with needing new guitarists. These guys are awful. If they had some better guitarist, they'd be way more fun to listen to

Sounds consistent with their other work if you ask me. Which is a good thing, in my opinion.

Demon Hunter isn't the most complex music, I agree, but it's not boring and it's not nu metal. I hate how often everyone on this website criticizes bands based on what genre they think they're in. Like you have to stand by your "genre" and everything else sucks, right? Datz ur gang, y0. Youz representin'.
I don't know...maybe it's just the vibe I get.
I will say this, though: a lot of their songs do sort of merge into each other; they don't have much of an identity. Although I don't necessarily think it's boring music, I do think that it's too consistent for it's own good, so to speak.This Message Edited On 11.04.07

Sleep is something Ive got alot of the last few days and I can tell you this band is just that boring. I see what you mean how people criticize bands based on their genre of music. Its easy to get lumped in and its up to these bands to prove they are better than the rest. But with Demon Hunter, they are just a weak band for whatever genre of metal they fall under.
