The animation style in Demon Hunters (the movie, not the band in case you're confused) is the same that's used in the Spider-verse movies and I found it way worse in those movies. Also, looking it up, the CGI in those movies mixed standard 24fps with occasional 12fps which caused that jittery effect. It's way less pronounced in Kpop Demon Hunters (again, referring to the animated film and not the band, in case anyone is still confused).

The problem is that you assume traditional conservative ideals still exist in mainstream American politics. You're seeking nuance in an age where absolutism is all the rage. The ideologies of MAGA align too much with authoritarianism and has swallowed whole the morality and practicality of conservative thinking (if such a thing even exists anymore).

I understand that my comment might seem like that and I should have elaborated. My problem is that I observe a tendency to project likening conservatism to nazism onto political scenes outside the U.S., which I find concerning because in my country, the leftist politicians lean more towards vehement anti-nationalism and nazi apologism.

I appreciate your clarification too. I won't speak for conservatism outside the U.S. but I certainly understand how our reputation is being used to further demonize foreign political institutions. It ain't good no matter which way you look.

if I may chime in a bit, one thing that I have seen as a person who has lived in multiple countries, on different continents is that one even more concerning aspect of new conservatives is that a lot of them seem to emulate the new American style of conservativism, by which I mean the MAGA movement, its quite concerning to see.

I think in the U.S. there is actually a large contingent of MAGA leaders that are Nazis in all but name. Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller are names that come to mind immediately, and an even larger number of power-hungry worms like Rubio or Vance who don't mind crawling up Trump's ass because they're pure opportunists.

As far as rank and file MAGA, I think decades of listening to dipshits like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, racism and actual material decline under capitalism primed them to slurp up the Trump slop. Europe of course has a similar arc, and European fascists have seen how Trump managed to capture the elections and are of course taking notes.

On a side note, it's so fucking funny to me that Vance has to constantly qualify how he feels about his wife by basically saying 'she's one of the good ones but I hope she converts so she doesn't go to hell.' Get fucked bud lol

Yep, and not just obvious cases where the Trump admin directly and openly aligns with them, like Hungary or Germany, but in Australia our fringe right-wing party has gained prominence by echoing MAGA rhetoric, even though we don’t have even remotely the same conditions, but since all the boomers are hyper-online it’s all the same thing.
