News are a bit stale, but when I read about it, I knew I should at least try posting them especially since these guys seem to have a moderate following on Sputnik.

So fucking sad man, she was my favorite member of L7 too. R.I.P. to a legend

They had started her GoFundMe 5 days before she passed, it looks like. Things must have deteriorated quickly. My mom refused treatment after her glioblastoma diagnosis in January and by early summer, she was having steep drop-offs every 2 weeks or so. She was already receiving in-home hospice by the time I was pulled into the situation in May. By June, she needed a walker and, by July, a nurse had to come 3 days a week to bathe her as my dad wasn't physically capable of doing it nor could my mom really assist physically. She went from home to the hospital to hospice within 3 days and remained sedated for about 3 more days before she passed in her sleep. Even by the time she was transferred to hospice, she could talk but nothing really made sense. In the death process, she effectively had a "wave of energy" that caught my dad by surprise because he didn't expect to come see her 12 hours later and see that she was medicated (they call it a HAM sandwich cause they load them up on Haldol, Ativan, and Morphine to keep the brain logged off) and unresponsive.

Shit's awful, man. And I was lucky in that I wasn't exposed to the full scope of things until it was nearer to the end. And brain cancer especially sucks because by the time the first wave of symptoms manifest, it's most likely metastasized and there's no true way to prevent the tumors from growing back should one elect to have surgery.

RIP, Jennifer. She at least had a wealth of support behind her through to the end.

RIP. My prayers go to all her family and friends.
