Always excited for new Menzingers. Both songs are pretty good!

Last album took a LOT of growing after their flawless run of albums. Now I love it.

These songs are also less immediate, but I got alllll the time in the world for this band.

I enjoy these songs way too much.

The production is crisp as fuck.

Could've sworn chance encounter was a cover of "when you were young" by the Killers in that intro.

second song has some more life to it, but band has still peaked

love that we have a venture capital opinion on bands where they must always get better

They don't have to always get better, but I do like good things and not bad things, and it's true that they've hit their peak and it's all been downhill from there. Chance Encounters is decent, Nobody's Heroes is a snoozefest. Don't have high hopes for this album, I'm afraid this is gonna be the third dud in a row.

good singles

band was the shit from 2010-2017

Huge step up after the first single, and overall sounds like this will be a big step up from the last album as a whole. Production especially. Gotta catch them live again, always a great time

The vocals sound better than ever thats for sure.

Chance Encounters is excellent. Definitely their best song in a long time and the production has some real oomph too. After the disappointment that was their last album I'm really happy to be hyped for a new Menzingers record again.

New Record Menzingers The

Yeah, Nobody's Heroes is like 4/10 while Chance Encounters is an 8/10. Vocals and production are perfect tbh. It's weird having two singles of such different quality. If more of the album is like NH, it will suck. But if it's more like CE, it will rock. Could truly go either way here.

It is a Will Yip album. OFC the production is perfect.

They've been very hit and miss since After the Party but I do like these tracks

on further listens I'm not so sure...

I feel like these guys would be a really great band if the lyrics weren't just unbearably bad.

I liked their lyrics on previous records, but they seem to have burned through all of their interesting lyrical ideas a good while ago.

Looking for a golfball, lost in the wooooods !

hahaha
