As Everything Unfolds single

British post-hardcore ensemble As Everything Unfolds have unveiled a new single "POINT OF VIEW" following their previous song "SET IN FLOW". These are the band's first works under Century Media Records as well as without their late drummer Jamie Gowers. Louis Doran, a touring member, provided drums on the new tracks. No news about a potential new album for now.

The band's vocalist, Charlie Rolfe, on the new song:
You give everything you have, your whole being, your whole life, to help someone but it’s never enough if they don’t want to help themselves. I really struggled to understand how someone close to me couldn’t see my point of view in the awful situation we were in. They were angry when I helped, they were angry when I gave them space, they were angry when I stayed, they were angry when I left. It destroyed my confidence and my self-worth having to live in an environment where nothing I ever did was good enough. It hurts deeply to watch what can only be described as a car crash in slow motion, being unable to stop it but just having the strength to walk away and value your own mental health, your own sanity helped me gain back a small amount of those parts of me I lost. I really hope that some day, that person can listen to this song, and truly understand what it was like to be in that situation from my point of view.

Within Each Lies The Other was really good. Ultraviolet was good after the first few songs. These guys aren't really anything special, but they're a good listen.

Unpopular opinion but Ultraviolet and Slow Down are their best songs, though now contended by the new single. The band's constantly improving, which is great.

I'll have to re-listen to them, because I generally just throw on "Within Each Lies The Other" but I couldn't tell you the names of any of the songs from that album or which ones are better (same with the last one). I haven't had a chance to hear the new song yet, but I'm going to.
