The thing is, the lack of Ryan’s presence can be felt as far back as lost and found. It a lot of the reason why I think their quality waned album to album. I was kinda hoping they were gonna go full LD50 if they decided to write new music — lyrics and all — but it seems like they’re carrying on from where they left off.

Not complaining though; while it is agonisingly simplistic lyrically, the production is really nice, chad sounds great, and the music sounds slightly more focused and heavy.

Feels more like a track to showcase chad than anything else. Here’s hoping we get more instrumental-focused songs in the album

yeah I don't expect it but I have a tiny bit of hope since it seems like they're all about reliving that era right now. they brought back the makeup and their recent live sets lean pretty heavily into it, plus they're doing a full-on tour for its anniversary next year.

Looking forward to new music, but this one didn't do it for me at all. The lyrics are super "Hellyeah" vibe and I hope they largely leave that sound behind.

I recently listened to Mudvayne's classic "Determined" and man that song goes so hard. Now I gotta check their entire discography.

The title is laughably awful and tone deaf. Sounds like a b-side they dusted off, bland, and reworked... moving on.

I think the song rips. Lyrics are a little weak but it sounds great and that driving riff is just as good.

It’s grown on me a little, but I still don’t love it. Especially the cringe lyrics. As someone mentioned, it does slightly have the More Human than Human sound/formula.

They played Sticks and Stones when I saw them live, and of course it sounded better live. Still not great though, and also cringe lyrics.

Really hope the new album is at least Lost and Found caliber. I’d be happy with it, and pleasantly (unexpectedly) surprised.
