Terrible song, previous single was way better. Album is shaping up to be their worst so far.

I have never listened to a Slaughter to Prevail song and this song made me want to avoid checking them out. I loved the song with Poppy, this is boring as hell though.

The past tense here is problematic. After doing some research I still don't know shit, he was at least in contact with nazi sympathizers (or was one) and got the tattoo, now he has it covered and said it was a poor life choice, there were claims of him admitting that what he said was a smokescreen on some Russian forum etc. So, to my knowledge, it's mostly a case of whether to believe his claims of distancing himself from the nazi shit or not.

Can't speak on the music though, only heard this guy as a feature in one Shadow of Intent song and didn't give a heck about him.

wasn't a forum, he posted that on VK (ruZZian facebook) and it was screenshot. So yea, it's actually whether you believe his own words that he just said it to keep getting booked to festivals and make money.

basically, he said he only removed the tattoos to get western critics off his back and make them thing he'd rejected Nazi ideology but he's just playing nice to keep getting the band bookings. I'm doubtful they left Russia and moved to Florida because they disagree with Putin, more, they just wanted to keep selling records in the West and knew that wouldn't happen if they stayed. I like some Russian bands still in Russia like Grenouer who had previously been vocally anti-war but have been quiet this time around due to the obvious threat of being disappeared - as long as they don't vocally support the war I'll give them a pass.
