Rejoice, the Mancunian droning art-rock band with inflated brass dept. budget have finished their improvised jam sessions and started working on an actual full length album.
Titled Pain to Power, it is set to drop September 12th.
Check out the two official singles from the album below, "Break the Tension" and "Look Down on Us":

If I were some art student who likes to lock himself with his fellow students into a chamber to sniff each other’s farts, I would probably enjoy this too. But alas, I'm a metal enjoyer.

Dumb take, as if metal has never been guilty of the same art school fart sniffing. But I feel like other people like these guys more than I do though. I feel like should absolutely love them on paper but the jazz elements are kinda undercooked. The sax could often do more flourishes and I find the drumming a bit underwhelming at times.

the discourse around this band often suffers the usual "has sax = must be jazz" faux pas

you did 4.5 Fear Innocuous, so there's hope for you yet (in the fart sniffing dept, not the "good metal dept", to be clear you like bad metal)

and yeah I wouldn't consider these guys jazz, yet do kinda agree with the notion that I SHOULD like them more than I do. Still, I'm interested to see what noxious gasses they can cook-up for us stale air connoisseurs to appreciate. They have significant potential

Look Down on Us has a weird RATM meets early Bonobo vibe, which works very well for some strange reason. Can’t hear much jazz though, just because they improv a lot I won’t put on my suit.

RATM x Bonobo sounds... odd, lol. Should be interesting

normalise casually dressed jazz, as last night's stained loungewear is a much needed modern counterpoint. I'm more likely to wear my birthday suit... otherwise save them for the occasional wedding 'dust off'

The sax on this is so similar to the one on Bonobo’s Live Sessions EP that I even had to check if it’s the same guy playing (it’s not). Birthday suit for a jazz session? That should be fun!
