kewl. it's alright
| |
That was fucking awesome.
| |
Sick, loving the bigger production on this
| |
yeah that ruled
| |
I swear Chevelle can do no wrong! Always just puts out bangers and I can't wait for the new album. Shame none of the tour dates are closer to my neck of the woods.
| |
As mid as it could be.
| |
It's not bad, who knows, maybe pretty good even. But this song could be on any of the nine albums they've released. They're the most consistently good rock band that comes to mind, but they're for sure also the most consistently the exact same ^^
| |
Feels like a 3.8
| |
This band is the definition of ''Sputnik 3.8 albums'' band. Song is just alright.
| |
Pretty average. Didn't like the vocals at all.
| |
Hope they continue down the La Gargola/North Corridor route as I love me some heavier Chevelle
| |
Pretty cool. They always feel familiar yet slightly fresh. This maybe promises something heavier than NIRATIAS, and I'm all for it
| |
Nice 10 Years song
| |
Love the production quality on this, song is great as to be expected. These guys haven’t missed yet
| |
really enjoyed that, excited to hear what's next
| |
meh, feels like they’ve made this exact song before
| |
Solid but I wasn't crazy about it
| |
Meh there's nothing really wrong with it. I was expecting it to get really good in the middle part but instead it just plods along mostly par for the course as the song started. I'd rather just listen to their early stuff or some random song from Sci-Fi Crimes *shrugs*
| |
3.8errific
| |
Mid in the way I like from Chevelle. It's exactly what I was expecting, and also exactly how I want it to sound. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
| |
not bad but probably better in context since it’s a part 1
| |
Cool instrumentation, but ever since NIRATIAS he's been doing this weird higher pitched throat whine that really pulls the power out of his voice. I'm very mixed on this track.
| |
Love love love the vocals. Pete has always been one of my favorites. They’ve been hyping this album up as stupidly heavy, and this doesn’t really live up to that. Oh well. It’s a good chevelle track
| |
Yeah Pete's voice has been getting higher and I don't like it
| |
Definitely a grower. Wasn't sure about it at first but I'm starting to dig Pete's different vocal approach
Also that main riff is nasty
| |
Solid track. It has some cool instrumentation, like the layered guitar parts that come in over the second half of the song. Wish the drums and bass were a little more clear in the mix and Pete's voice is a bit too front-and-center for my liking. His voice has definitely gotten more higher pitched and nasally with age. With all that said, I am impressed overall.
| |
Glad the kick and snare aren’t all neutered out like on NIRATIAS. Band doesn’t really ever miss with the music.
| |
Lame
| |
Fun song, though Pete's vocals grate on me a bit. Is the audio supposed to be in mono?
| |
Listened to this on YT - terrible and flat.
Listened to this on AM - fantastic track.
Pete still sounds great after all these years
| |
Chad-rock is back baby
| |
Mid band continues to be mid and afraid to experiment at all, they might aswell just use AI to write their music .....The AC/DC of alternative metal.
| |
Ok band on the cusp of actually being rly good forever remains ok yeah.
| |
This was okay. Hopefully there’s better stuff on the album.
| |
everybody quiet, my song is on.
| |
The first time I’ve been meh about a new Chevelle single tbh. As I stated, I love the vocals, but nothing about this has stuck with me at all. Cannot recall a single melody or moment
| |
"Listened to this on YT - terrible and flat."
Yeah, can we talk about how YouTube's audio compression is inexcusably bad? The song is not my cup of tea, but this upload was bungled.
| |
why people still comment about yt quality being surprising after 15 years of being bad, idk
| |
Because it actually ruins music badly. Ergo worth complaining about even if it is known
