have not yet listened to this album or anything by Soft Machine yet for that matter but it's been on my radar for at least a decade, their influence across prog is well recognized and appreciated. RIP

I discovered Soft Machine when I was about 17 (2007) and their album Third was always a welcome oddity that I would toss on from time to time. It was pivotal in helping me understand that music is boundless.
