Ulver continue with new singles 2024-09-21 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 12 Comments | Ulver continue dropping new singles to complete the current album cycle. "Locusts" and "Nocturne #2" were released online, the two songs finished right before Tore's passing. Two more will soon follow alongside the pre-orders for the physical release. Read the band's statement below:
"Last month, right before Tore's passing, we finished two pieces which you can hear now, on digital platforms, for our yet unnamed new album. We have to carry on howling, as said, no matter how wrong it feels. Our church is music. We will conclude with two more pieces and a pre-order for the physical release (LP/CD) via House of Mythology sometime this fall. Everything falls. Count your blessings. Ulver xx"

OK these tracks, especially the second Nocturne, are pretty sweet. Like them more than their recent output, including Flowers Of Evil.

Calling them shit goes far but I'm way less interested in the Ass-direction and beyond, agreed.
