Nailbomb are (sort of) back

2024-08-14 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 15 Comments
Legendary industrial thrashers Nailbomb, initially comprised of then-Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera and Fudge Tunnel mastermind Alex Newport, have announced their comeback for a single show in November 2024 but with a catch - Alex Newport won't be involved.

As part of the "Max Cavalera Dynasty Show" to be held in Arizona on November 9, a new-look Nailbomb consisting of Max and his son Igor Amadeus sharing vocal and rhythm guitar duties; Pig Destroyer trio Travis Stone (lead guitar), Alex Cha (samples) and Adam Jarvis (drums); and bassist Johnny Chow, will perform alongside other Cavalera-led bands Healing Magic (fronted by Igor Amadeus Cavalera), Go Ahead and Die (lead by Max and Igor), Incite (led by Richie Cavalera) and Soulfly.

Non-Cavalera bands opening the show are Jade Helm, Shadow Guilt, Ocean Harvest, Six Million Dead and Zherra.

The show comes at the end of a North American tour from Soulfly which includes support from Mutilation BBQ, Eyehategod, Skinflint, Bloodlet, Crowbar, and Morbid Visionz across select dates.

Call it cavalera and then play whatever sep, soulfly, cc and go ahead and die shit you want. But i bet he just buys back the sepultura name and runs that shit into the ground… Officially

These guys toured in 2018, wtf? I saw them minus Newport.

This Cavalera Family dynasty idea kinda rules.

Whole family plus some Soulfly members were involved.
